Expressing Anger To Fix Problems
At the start of this article on expressing anger let’s understand that of all emotions that we have, anger is the most terrible. But instead of fearing anger you only need to be careful with it and carefully control it.
This article talks about the different kinds of expression of anger and how you can express your anger appropriately so that you are satisfied with the results.
People use three basic categories to describe the expressions of anger. They are categorized as outward expressions, inward expressions and controlling or calming is the third one.
Outward…
The normal way that anger is expressed in which threats, sarcasm, shouting and violence is used is referred to as the outward expression of anger. This is the way that we think that anger is normally expressed. Of all forms, this form is recognized as shifting between the second or last in terms of which is worse of the three. It all depends on someone uses it.
Inward…
An inward expression of anger is a second type of expression. This form describes an anger that you do not talk about to anyone, but you keep it inside you. It leads to some of the more terrible forms of illnesses, including heart disease, cancer, high blood pressure and strokes.
You may think that this form of expression only affects you when you act this way, but the other danger associated with this type is that the anger that is kept in often times grows until it is past anger and is turning into rage.
Calming…
This expression of calming your anger is the best you can choose to use. This method will let you be assertive without being aggressive. Secondly you will benefit from this expression again because when using this form, the chances are smaller that the people you are confronting will return this expression with anger of their own, as with the outward expression.
You would also find that when this expression is done properly, you would not normally be frustrated by the same person doing the same thing again. This form of expression gets to the bottom of situations, and solves them.
How to do it…
If you are going to be good at expressing your anger in good ways, you need to be good at controlling the gap between the time you are annoyed and the time you respond to it.
