Power Of The Mind – What Can It Really Do?

Yes, you can use the power of the mind to not only change yourself, but also influence things around you as well. In fact, you already do this on an everyday basis, sometimes without even realizing it.

Whenever you dream and desire for things in your life, if you wanted it so bad, it just seem to magically happen. As you go to bed and fall asleep hoping for things like salary increase or recovery from a disease to happen, you often find yourself waking up with that thought in your mind actually happening in your life. This is a classic example of your subconscious mind power at work.

In fact the more scientists research quantum physics it seems that our whole reality is in fact merely a product of our own mind. That our mind power is in fact reality.

This is something that the ancient eastern religions have spoken about for many thousands of years. What we think of as being real only exists because we can ‘imagine’ it.

Ironically, in this age of advanced science, experts are still looking at ancient scrolls and texts to determine the true nature of being real or reality.

It ancient literatures have confirmed that reality is actually a product of our thoughts in our minds; we can presume that we can make major changes to our reality with our mind power.

One place to start making relevant changes to life is by mental conditioning. Unlocking the power of the mind through meditation can clear out unnecessary thoughts and replace it with positive thoughts and fresh new ideas. There are actually a number of techniques on which you can meditate and effectively develop the power of the mind.

Sit in a darkened room in a comfortable chair. Close your eyes and start deep breathing exercises, breathing in through your nose, out through your mouth. This take a few minutes, and you may feel a little light headed. Don’t worry, this is because of an increase of oxygen in your system and completely normal.

Then, paint a picture in your mind. Picture yourself sitting by a tranquil pond with small pebbles. The pebbles represent your daily thoughts and ideas, which constantly go in and out of your head. Imagine yourself removing the pebbles from the pond, one by one. Once the pond is clear out all pebbles, you will be ready to unlock the power of the mind. With that, you will be able to pile up all your random thoughts on one side and your wishes and wants on the other side.

Of course, wishing for causes like world peace and global warming is unreachable with only one person. But you can do your part in saving the planet by doing some recycling and waste segregation. However, wishing for dream jobs and happiness in love is something that you can achieve with the power of your mind. While the mind influences virtually all aspects of your life, it is you that controls your mind and make it work to bring all good things into your life.

For example, if you are having trouble in your relationship, you could wish for help communicating with your partner. While you can’t make them communicate with you, you can influence them by improving yourself.

Now realize that some things may happen right away, but other things take time. Unlocking the power of the mind does take some time, and you must overcome mental programming that says you can’t. This is a very simple thing that you can start with.

Remember that you still have to do your part. If you wish for better communication with your partner, you have to start talking to them about things that bother you, in a respectful manner. If you wish for that dream job, you still have to look through the classified ads and such.
