<p>After placing energy into the intention of experiencing enlightenment and getting into an attitude of gratitude I then will then start to connect even deeper to the earth. First of all I find it&#8217;s best to go bare foot as this will usually deepen your connection with the land. However, it&#8217;s stress that blocks this link. The stress both within your body and within your mind.</p>
<p>So after getting into an attitude of gratitude, simply scan along the body and become aware of any tension within your system. Then similar to dropping a stone towards the earth, drop this stress to mother earth. Mother earth can use this tension where she needs to.</p>
<p>When dropping tension I&#8217;ve observed it can help many people to simply pick up a stone and feel what it&#8217;s like to hold on tight to your stone and then physically permit it to drop towards the earth. The participants are able to then use this experience of letting go of the stone much the same way to letting go of their very own tension by dropping the tension inside their physique towards the earth. Additionally, it helps to understand that the earth can use this stress exactly where she must, such as resisting the power on her skin of cyclones or resisting the erosive results of a waterfall on her or maybe helping her stay together when an earthquake is happening. I find dropping tension works best on the out breath since you are actively dropping the stress inside the body.</p>
<p>After you have dropped the stress inside the body, next scan throughout your mind for any stress. Your thinking mind often creates a level of stress, particularly around the front of one&#8217;s forehead. So merely scan through your mind for any small amounts of tension. Then similar to letting go of rock, permit the tension inside your thoughts to drop to the earth. Again, this is best done on the out breath.</p>
