Two Ways Of Keeping Your House Well-Organized
We all want to dwell in a clean house. Well, that requires some concentrated effort on our parts. What usually happens is that there is one person going crazy maintaining the house while others do not contribute much.
There is usually more than one person living in a house. Therefore, positive input from each quarter becomes all the more important. You need to motivate others to help along the way, which is even more difficult.
There are two things that you need to do. Firstly, you need to come up with a schedule. Make a plan for everyone to follow.
While creating the schedule identify the problem areas. Select the rooms that require the most cleaning. Then think as to why this is the case.
For example if your kitchen is usually messed up, make a list of the reasons. It could be because your children leave school paper in the kitchen. If you find that your home office is not organized, then it could be because you leave the mail on the office desk without sorting it out.
Once you have identified the problem areas and the associated reasons, think over the possible solutions to the problem.
After you have decided on what needs to be done. Discuss it with your family. Get their support. Talk to them and tell them why following the schedule is so important.
Ask for suggestions. If someone is dissatisfied with it, ask for advices on how to make it better. Asking for others’ input is a nice way to motivate them to work. Your mission will become their mission. They will start taking more interest.
