With the sudden event of the anticipated polar reversal in December 2012, it is actually estimated to take place along with other massive events that will put an end to the world as we know it; so there is a need for everybody to know how to survive pole shift. A polar shift entails a swift shift geographic positions of the poles and the axial rotation of the earth.

This kind of phenomenon would occur if the physical poles are suddenly shifted with respect to the underlying surface over a geologically short time period. This can result in a series of disasters for people worldwide. Should this occur, you should be prepared for the occurrence of intense earthquakes and extremely large tidal waves and huge volcanic eruptions from known and unknown volcanoes.

Apart from these, the polar shift will cause only one side of the earth to be facing the sun while the other side is hidden, so that one half is in perpetual sunlight and scorching hot, while the other is covered in total darkness. But then again, all sides will encounter the previously predicted disasters. The part that is exposed to the sun will be prone to nuclear explosions coming from the nuclear power plants that are shut down because of the malfunction of their cooling system.

In order for people to survive this, they must move to a safe place very high above sea level and inland to prevent being swept away by the tidal waves. It is essential to have viable water source to ensure safe and nutritious drinking of water. So storing food is necessary as well as bringing along a water purifying system is important in ensuring your safe and potable drinking water. Likewise, medical supplies and medicines should also be stocked up to ensure the health of the survivors.

What’s more, there must also be tools that will facilitate with the search for food, cooking in the entire course of the hiding period. Knives are very important and so are ropes and shovel; a match or lighter with fluid refill necessary to make fire that is needed for cooking, light source and for heat.

Aside from these, it is important to form survival groups for more chances of survival and to be able to create communities that will help each other in rebuilding the earth that was lost to these disasters. Communication plays a very important role with other survival communities for a bigger populace and more manpower to help build a new world.

If you want to have a complete list of things you need as find out what you have to do you, can look to the several survival guides and books about 2012 that online like 2010 Contact.

You may actually perceive the survival guides as something complete since it entails discussions of the various theories and predictions, to preparations prior to the event, as well as teaching what to do during the aftermaths. Such things can actually be a big help in educating you on how to survive pole shift.

To say “we will survive 2012″ may come across to you as a very short and plain declaration, but it actually requires a lot of work and preparations to be true. Not too many people can mention these words because great number of people are expected to die in 2012 for not having prepared enough. In fact, almost everybody knows about the impending end of the world. The very old Mayans knew of this already way before Jesus Christ’s birth; even Nostradamus envisaged it in his most recent book found in the National Library.

In fact, the Bible has its separate chapter depicting how the world will reach its final stage. It is understandable if you do not take time to leaf through the Bible or even go to church, or read the most up-to-date findings about old civilizations. But surely, you must have listened to it from the so many preachers shouting in the streets asking for repentance and renewal of your life to prepare for the coming of the end of the world.

If you are wondering how you can endure this coming disaster, you have made the first step, which is acknowledge that the world really is coming to an end in 2012. When you recognize its presence you will also take steps to solve or shun from this problem.

Other people know it but refuse to admit that they are there; and by ignoring the problem they do noting to prevent it from happening. If you want to learn the things that you need to do, there are many resources that you can turn to. 2012 survival books are accessible and parallel books include 2012 Contact which is highly advised and contains a lot of information about the disaster.

You will be able to become skilled at what will actually happen and how it will come in contact with our planet. You will also be guided in looking for the most ideal place to build your shelter, how to make it and what are the things that you need to bring with you. You will also be trained how to deal with this catastrophe without going into a panic and so that you will be able to do the right things when you go out to the new world.

You have to understand that welcoming the new era is not merely leaving for another state or another country. It is plainly a new beginning where there is nothing that you know. There are no grocery stores to obtain your food and other stuff from, no bus stop s to get your ride or where you can ride home and no microwave oven to heat your food. You will have to plant or hunt for your own food, create your own fire and improvise your own transport.

You will have to do some customizing and adjustments to be able to start a new life, start your own society and manage your own community. The survival guides will be helpful as they also involve having information on how you will be able to achieve such things. It will be very simple if all the participants in your community also agree with the book so that you can work towards just one goal, and that is to pull it through and thrive.

When you declare we will survive 2012, it does not merely indicate that you will just get up and then go home right after. There is no home to go back to and what you see when you emerge out of the shelter is your new home. Your only choice then is to make the most out of what you currently have.

Many men seem to get it into their heads that they have no chance of dating a hot woman and they will only ever get a so called average looking woman. As long as you go about things in the right way you have as much chance of dating a hot woman as everybody else. Here are just a few tips that could help you to arrange a date with a hot woman.

If you find a woman that you really like and think to yourself that she is hot then keep it to yourself. If you start to flap about when you get near her and treat her as though she is hot then this is one way to let other people know just how hot she is and you may face stiff competition from others. This will unsettle her and she will undoubtedly lose interest.

Do not always compliment her about how hot she is looking as she will get very tired of this very quickly. It is alright to compliment her a few times on her appearance or dress sense but keep it low key.

If you are trying to strike up a conversation with a hot woman then you must block out any other thoughts from your mind that may distract your train of thought. Never hint about anything physical because this will surely make her lose interest straight away.

The trouble is with hot women are always getting hit on by lots of men and they will inevitably get tired of it.

During your conversation with her you could eventually drop a hint about going out sometime for a drink or a meal. If she is genuinely interested in you then she will probably agree to the date.

Managing to get the first date is a vital step but do not sit on your laurels after that. Once your first date is over it is time for you to step up to the plate and show your mettle.

Now is the time for you to act and act quickly as you are going to be in competition with every other hot blooded male. It is now that you should ask to see her again and if she agrees then you are on your way to dating the girl of your dreams.

Hypnotism and hypnotherapy have been recognized as beneficial for hundreds of years. In the last few decades, there have been hundreds of clinical and medical studies. Millions of people now reap the benefits.

For centuries people have looked for different ways to improve themselves and alleviate suffering. Psychology, and psychiatry, psychology are devoted to trying to understand and improve the human condition.

Over time, there have been many different approaches to “alternative” healing and self-improvement. Hypnotherapy and hypnosis fall into this category.

Even though skeptics may scoff at these alternative methods, there is actually a lot of good science behind it. Psychologists and social scientists have known for some time that it is our subconscious mind that controls most of our behaviors and attitudes. In order to unlock some of these stumbling blocks, we must bypass our “rational” or “reasoning” mind. Fears, habits, and motivations can be reached and modified. Very often, this results in achieving goals we have been struggling with that aren’t amenable to more traditional types of efforts.

People have many different reasons for trying hypnotherapy or hypnosis. These include relief from both emotional and physical problems, as well as wanting to reach one’s potential and improve one’s self.

Hypnotism can can be used to overcome low self-esteem and low self-confidence, and anger, as well as physical problems like over-eating and weight loss.

Hypnosis is also helpful in remedying addictions and habits and addictions such as cigarette smoking, gambling, even drug and alcohol abuse.

Hypnosis has also been used successfully to aid with severe medical problems like diabetes and even cancer. Patients have been known to undergo pain-free surgery with minimal anesthesia, and reduce recovery times significantly.

Hypnotism and hypnotherapy certainly aren’t a “cure-all”, or even always the best alternative. However it is becoming increasingly clear that there are real, tangible, and lasting benefits to this type of therapy and self-help.

A lot of people have found that they are addicted to chocolate and that it is causing them major problems in their lives. But knowing that you are addicted and doing something about it is completely different. You could try to start your own support group to wean you off this addiction. Here are a few basic tips on how to go about staring your own addiction group.

1. Before you do anything else you must admit to yourself that you have in face got an addiction to chocolate. You can never get rid of an addiction if you do not admit to it first.

2. It would be helpful if you could find a couple of trusty people to act as sponsors of the group. It always helps when there are certain people that you can rely on to help you through any bad times that you may be experiencing.

3. It can also be helpful to invite a few other people that suffer from the same addiction. By having like minded people in your group you can all help and support each other through this addiction.

4. As with any group it is a good idea to arrange regular weekly meetings for the group. This can either be done in person at a scheduled meeting place or just on the phone to each other

5. If you have to eat chocolate keep a record of when you ate it and how much you consumed. Try to log your feelings before and after the event so you can look back on it later.

6. Some people try to imagine how they would look after they had been off the chocolate for a while. Try to get a mental picture of this in your head.

If you have this image about how you are going to feel after the chocolate addiction is over it may spur you on in the moments when you feel like giving in to your craving.

This author additionally often gives advice on subject including the vince delmonte review and the ivybot review.

Many employers throughout the world use an effective tool known as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) as a way to gauge their workforces and advantageously place them into position on teams or throughout the company where they will be most effective. Based on their inputs, this psychological survey places individuals into four categories focused on their attitudes, perceptions, judgment, and lifestyles.

The uses of MBTI results can be used in almost every type of work. Employers can use the results for employee placement based on communication aptitude, ability to solve problems, marketing traits, and other important factors to building a productive workforce.

A common misconception of this test is that it measures the skills of the employee. The fact is that it does not. Instead, it is used to provide an image of the individual work preferences of an employee. Utilizing this data, employers can place workers into environments that are more fitting to their preference and the result is efficiency.

Using the four categories, employees can be broken into four key groups. Each of the four groups is further broken into two classifications, which are each given a single letter. The final results are published as a four character readout that breaks out each of the classifications of each category such as ENTP or ISFJ.

Category 1: Attitude. Attitude is broken into the subcategories extravert (E) and introvert (I). An extravert is expressive of their emotions, is very social, and works better when they are in groups. Opposite of extraverts are introverts, who prefer working alone and possibly in pairs. They have their own internal motivations and often keep their thoughts to themselves.

Category 2: Perceiving. Subcategories: Sensing (S) and Intuition (N). An employee that scores high in sensing desires to have solid facts and would like to have information given to them in pieces rather than all at once. Someone who has higher scores in intuition would rather be given the overall idea and are willing to experiment with new ideas and theories.

Once perceiving functions are established, judgment can be measured. Judgment is split into thinking (T) and feeling (F). People who are categorized as thinking use logic, reasoning, and set rules to solve a problem. People who are generalized as feeling are more adaptive to unfamiliar situations and do not usually require a set of conventional rules.

Category 4: Lifestyle. Subcategories: Judging (J) and Perceiving (P). Do not get these subcategories of lifestyle confused with categories one and two. A judging individual favors having everything set up for them by someone else. They want timelines and rules established for them. Most of them will take thorough notes and adhere to schedules and checklists. Perceiving individuals differ in that they are more spontaneous and work better when they do not have strict deadlines or rules. Because of this, they are far more flexible.

Using this data, employers can have a better picture of their employee and their individual preferences and working styles. They can take full advantage of this data and assign work and form teams accordingly, greatly improving workplace productivity. Regardless of the reasoning, the MBTI is a great tool for any employer.

INTJ Brazil is a multi-language forum that has followers around the globe, thanks to the Internet. Threads about MBTI is one example of a topic of interest to posters.

If you’re anything like me you have a long list of things you’d like to do and you’re always busy working on things you enjoy. But then what happens when you’re stuck doing something you don’t want to do? People who get very passionately excited also tend to get very frustratingly bored if being held back from what they want to do.

So, what do you do if you are itching to do something fun, but you just have to get this boring thing done because your boss, your coworkers, your family, your friends, your lecturers or a committee you volunteered to help are relying on you? It is not worth being antagonistic, you simply need to get the thing done.

Personally I react very badly to boredom so I know exactly where you’re coming from! As a result I have developed a number of coping mechanisms for getting things done so that I can go back to having fun. I apply these skills to job seeking, homework, downtime at work and the dreaded cleaning sprees.

1) Set yourself a task-based goal with a personal project as the reward. Put all your energy into your boring task immediately and do not stop until the task is finished. As soon as you are finished the boring task indulge in your personal project to your heart’s content.

2) Set yourself up to have fewer boring tasks to do in the first place by delegating the things you have to do that you find uninteresting. You might not be able to delegate away all of your boring tasks, but you can certainly make a good dent on them. For example, if you are really itching to work on some creative projects you could delegate your bookkeeping. If you want to spend your home time tracing your genealogy, hire someone else to clean the house.

3) Ask a friend to help or just keep you company. Recently I was moving house and a friend offered to come visit while I was packing. Well that was the best idea ever! I think I packed more things during the couple of hours on the two nights that she visited than I did on my own for the whole rest of the week.

4) Split your task up into milestones so that you can tick off your percentage complete. If you know that you have to make twenty sales calls and you don’t feel like it, then you can feel good about your task being already 20% complete after the first four.

5) Weave a fanciful and amusing storyline around your current task and pretend you are about to embark on an exciting adventure! I’ve never done this to help with boring tasks personally, but it is suggested by Barbara Sher in her book Refuse to Choose.

6) Listen to, or even sing along to music. Fast, loud pop is great for tedious physical tasks, whereas classical might be better if you have to concentrate. I don’t like music at all for focused tasks that I enjoy, but it is a welcome relief when I’m bored.

7) Do two or more different boring tasks at the same time. The alternating of the two boring tasks might add enough variety to make you feel more interested than if you did only one task at a time.
Alternate your boring task with a fun one. This was the only way I could make myself clean my room as a kid (actually, I still use this technique for cleaning the house!). I would set myself the goal of picking up and putting away 10 items and then I would read just one page of whatever book I was into at the time. I would desperately want to read the next page, so then I would go and pick up and put away another 10 things.

9) Use a stopwatch to time how long you take. How quickly can you write an essay or complete a report? Turn on the stopwatch and find out! Then next time you have to do the same thing, see if you can beat your personal record.

10) Use a timer to section off short sprints as though you were interval training. Set the timer for 5, 10 or 15 minutes and work as fast as you can during that time. Plan your day so that you can space out enough short sprints to get the task done. I used this method when I took a job as a work-from-home telephone market researcher during my university studies. I had about two hours per day of calls to do, but I could handle only 20 minutes at a time. I spaced the phonecalls at intervals during my day around my uni homework and that kept me on track.

11) Instead of spending all your time doing a boring task, see if you can find a way to set up an automated system for getting the task done. If you succeed it will pay off both now and in the future. For example, I once took a job as a software tester and I hated to do the step-by-step regression tests because I found them to be incredibly boring. Instead, I added value to my workplace by learning how to use an automated testing software package, writing some scripts that would do the specific mouse clicks for me, and then wrote an instruction manual for the rest of the team, teaching them how to write their own automated test code in VBScript!

It is well documented that many people fail to achieve their goals in life due to the phenomenon known as “fear of failure” but are you aware that a major factor that is often overlooked, is a state known as “fear of success”?

Many therapists treat fear of failure. It is very common. But, what about the phenomenon known as fear of success?

It is possible that you suffer from this numbing condition in your life. We must identify it.

Studying and trying to implement self-improvement techniques and/or personal development tools but your life does not improve or may even get worse.

Maybe you set soft weak goals and accept less than you really deserve.

You start new projects full of enthusiasm and optimism but wane in your efforts or stop short before you have completed them.

Are you a pessimist? Do you expect the worse outcome even when things seem be going your way?

Do you see yourself in any of these descriptions?

The fear of success can also make you behave in ways that hold you back. Look at the list below. These are the symptoms of the fear of success.

Procrastinating is a real sign. If you are avoiding the tasks that need to be finished to move you in the right direction towards success, you are showing signs of fear of success. Most of us suffer to some extent, from this condition, but some do more than others.

Personal development should be a major focus in your life. Part of your personal development should include training yourself to do the little things every day that will move you ever so closer to reaching your long term goals. If you are trapped by procrastination. Escape! Do it by taking small baby steps and actions today, tomorrow and every day. You must take action, because this habit is key to your personal development.

Can’t see the forest for the trees! – this is almost the opposite of procrastination but has the same effect on your personal development. The aforementioned saying is well known but have you ever given it real consideration?

Don’t get caught up in your plan believing that it is more important than the materialised goal! For many years I got caught in this trap. I started to think and act as though my plan was more important than my end result and thus missed many opportunities to alter my path and reach my goals more quickly! Let go of your ego and allow the Universe to show you a quicker route to your goal. Remain flexible.

Never wait until the perfect ime to act or begin. It will never come.

Again ACTION is the key to the door to success. Taking small steps forward are better than taking none or waiting to see if your foot is landing on the right spot! Even if your actions take you away from your goal you have at least gained insight and knowledge about what does not work!

Are you a perfectionist? This will also get in your way. If you need things to be perfect, you will procrastinate. Things are never perfect. You can always adjust and improve as you go along. Do not wait for perfection before moving towards your goals.

Are you focusing on the obstacles? Are you one of those people who constantly see the brown stuff ahead instead of the green pastures? Be an optimist and not a pessimist. Sure, it is okay to see the challenges ahead, but problem solve to move past them.

Look at the challenges ahead and figure out ways to overcome them. Ask yourself, “How can I best deal with this challenge and move past it?” Have confidence that when challenges arise, and they will, you can overcome them.

Enjoy life! Challenges will come and go, but eventually, if you keep taking action towards your dreams and goals the things you fear will disappear and you will be that closer to a happy, fulfilled, successful life. Put away your fear of failure and success and make it happen. You deserve it!

What is chronic pain? How do you know if you are actually suffering from chronic pain? Chronic pain is characterized as lasting longer than six months. The pain can be mild or severe, it can be continuous or periodic, it can just merely annoying or completely disabling. Chronic pain can start from an injury or trauma or it can be an ongoing cause of pain. Some people can actually suffer from chronic pain from body damage or the absence of a past injury. When chronic pain occurs, the nervous system receives signals of pain for days, months, or even years. It can take a physical and emotional toll on a person.

Chronic Pain can not only cause extreme physical discomfort, but can also cause psychological problems that will also need to be dealt with. The physical aspects of chronic pain can stem from backaches, headaches, joint pain, or past pain from an injury. Chronic pain can also be caused by carpel tunnel syndrome, sinus pain, or other specific parts of the body such as the neck, shoulders, or lower back. Also ongoing nerve and muscle pain can cause chronic pain that can last for years. Besides having to deal with the physical pain, chronic pain can also have an emotional toll on you that can actually make the pain worse. Such emotional issues can be anxiety, depression, anger, fear, hopelessness, and all in all just extreme negative feelings. These feelings can be caused by lack of energy, sleeplessness, not being able to take on day to day activities, and just constantly being in pain.

Before you make a trip to the doctor, you are going to want to make a list of your symptoms. The most common symptoms of chronic pain are:

- mild to severe pain that will not go away that is continuous for six months or more

- pain that can be described as burning, shooting, tingling, electrical, or aching

- a constant feeling of being sore, tightness, discomfort, or stiffness

These are the obvious symptoms. Having chronic pain can also cause:

- fatigue

- withdrawal from activities and constant need to rest – sleeplessness

- changes in mood such as anxiety, depression, hopelessness, stress, and irrability

If you believe you that you are suffering from chronic pain, these are going to be a lot of your symptoms.

If chronic pain is affecting your quality of life, you are going to want to see a doctor. When you make the decision to see your doctor, you need to be prepared. The doctor will ask you a lot of your medical history. They will want to know details and how your chronic pain is affecting your daily life. The doctor is going to want to know exactly where your pain is. They will need to know quite a bit of details before they diagnose you and decide what treatment plan is right for you.

Once you have been diagnosed with chronic pain, the doctor will go over a treatment plan with you. Since there are many different types of chronic pain, each case is different. The doctor will treat chronic back pain completely different from chronic sinus pain. Your doctor will go over all of the medications, therapies, and mind-body techniques that you can consider to treat your pain. They will go over all the benefits and risks, including addiction. It may take some trial and error before you and your doctor decide what the right treatment is for you.

Chronic pain can be extremely difficult to deal with, but once you find the right doctor and the right treatment plan, your quality of life can be greatly improved and you can once again live your life to the fullest.

Psychic powers and divination experts have ruled the roost from the time humans started civilization. The only difference today is that now the number of fraudulent fortune tellers is more.
