According to the ancient Hindus, chakras are the human body’s main energy centers; they are acknowledged as an essential part of our life force which help keep our mind and body functioning together harmoniously in top-notch condition. Although not physically visible, chakras are associated with our body’s major endocrinal glands (which are visible).
When anything is in balance, whether our minds that guide us, the environment that protects us, or the chakras of our bodies it at its best. Not only do we have a physical existence in this early world, we also have a spiritual existence, that of our consciousness or soul.
In Sanskrit, chakra means a spinning wheel or vortex. There is another meaning to chakra, which indicates the seven chakras of the human body that relate to the seven gland systems of the body. These chakras are centers of spinning energy with the first one on the base of the spine and the seventh one at the crown.
